Getting Around Big Sky

Big Sky, MT has a free local bus service between the Canyon, Meadow, Town Center, and Mountain areas.

The condo is in the Meadow.
Big Sky ski area is on the Mountain.
Most shops and restaurants are in the Town Center.

The bus service is called Skyline Bus and their website with route maps and times is found here: skylinebus.com.

The closest bus stop is about a .5 mile from the condo and is called the Meadow Village Center.

There is a new service in Big Sky, also ran through Skyline Bus, called Big Sky Connect. This is a rideshare service, like Uber, but free and only runs in a designated area around the Meadow and Town Center. This would be an option to get from the condo to the Meadow Village Center bus stop.

(note: this service was just launch at the beginning of January and I have not used it yet. Which unfortunately means I don't have any feedback on how long it takes to secure a ride.)

To book a ride with Big Sky Connect, download the Big Sky Connect rideshare app at skylinebus.com. Once in the app, enter Meadow Village Center Bus Stop in the "where to" box.

This will also be a good resource if you'd like to catch a ride to the grocery store, dinner, movie theater, or shops.
